Snake Game For Watch: io

Snake Game For Watch: io asks very little from a watch and gives back exactly what that kind of device can handle: a tiny arcade loop for short bursts. By our assessment, the appeal is immediate and old-fashioned in a good way, with simple movement and a clear goal that works on a small screen. Its weakness is also built in, because watch play can only go so far before the cramped controls and limited view start to matter. In practice you are dealing with quick, thumb-sized sessions rather than anything that needs patience or a large display. It sits in the crowded casual-game tradition, closer to time-killers than to serious competitive play. The Astrina catalogue places Snake Game For Watch: io under Entertainment, which fits a small arcade diversion on the wrist.
