By our assessment, that breadth is its main strength, especially for keeping up with more than one competition without switching between league-specific apps. The mix of headlines and score updates makes it useful both for catching up and following events as they unfold. Its coverage and familiar Sky Sports identity give it a clear place among general sports apps. The trade-off is that a fan focused on one team may find a dedicated league app more direct.
