Simple Budget Envelopes

Simple Budget Envelopes takes the old envelope method and turns it into a finance app, so the job is plain: divide spending into buckets and stop the money from blurring together. By our assessment, that is exactly where it can feel useful, because the logic is immediate and easy to grasp. The downside is just as plain: envelope budgeting is rigid, and once real life gets messy, the method can start to feel tight. In practice it is mostly category lists, balances, and the discipline of checking what remains before spending. It sits close to other budgeting apps, but with less ambition than a full banking dashboard. Simple Budget Envelopes suits people who want a strict, visible budget and do not mind keeping up with it day after day.
