Scaler EQ

Scaler EQ is the sort of music app people reach for when they want more than a plain graphic EQ and less than a full mastering chain. Its appeal is the way it gives you musical notes and scale-aware frequency moves instead of only sliders, which makes shaping tone feel more deliberate. The downside is that this also makes it less immediate than a simple equalizer, and it asks the user to think in terms of harmony as well as bands. By our assessment, it sits in the middle ground between clean corrective EQ and creative tonal tools, where it can be very handy for sound design and mix decisions. Scaler EQ is not a one-tap fix; the point is the extra control.
