SMART tag™ Parent App

SMART tag™ Parent App is a school-tracking tool for parents whose children use SMART tag systems, so it is really about the route and the alert rather than education in a broad sense. By our assessment, its strength is plain usefulness: it can keep a parent informed about a child’s school transport status in a way that is more direct than a general school portal. The trade-off is that it is tied to a specific system, so it has no reason to be interesting outside that setup. In daily use these apps are mostly about checking status and waiting for alerts, not about browsing or doing much at once. It sits in the narrow lane of transport oversight inside school life, and that makes it practical but not especially rich. SMART tag™ Parent App is for people already inside that school transport arrangement, and it does little for anyone else.
