Riffpad is the sort of app people reach for when a guitar line, bass idea, or short melody needs to be captured before it disappears. By our assessment, it is strongest as a quick sketchpad for riffs and loops, not as a full recording suite. That keeps it fast and uncluttered, but it also means the ceiling is the same as with many small music tools: once the idea grows into a real session, you start wanting deeper editing and better organization. In practice the good part is the low friction of opening, tapping in a phrase, and moving on. Riffpad sits comfortably between a notebook and a DAW, and the Astrina catalogue files it under Music. It is for catching ideas cleanly, not for finishing an album.
