Real Drum: electronic drum set asks for timing and some patience, because the whole point is to make a screen feel like a drum kit. By our assessment, that is exactly where it does well: it gives a simple electronic drum pad setup for practising rhythms, tapping out beats, and having a portable substitute for a real kit. The limit is the obvious one, since a phone or tablet cannot give the feel, rebound, or noise of actual drums. In practice it is quick to open and immediate to play, which makes it handy for rhythm work and casual practice rather than serious drumming technique. Compared with broader music apps, it stays focused on one instrument instead of trying to cover everything. The catalogue places it in Music, and that fits the use case cleanly. It is for drummers and beat-tinkerers, not for anyone expecting acoustic realism.
