Rainy Mood

Rainy Mood is the sort of app people open for one job only: a steady rain track that helps them settle, focus, or fall asleep. By our assessment, the strength is exactly that single-mindedness, because it does not clutter the experience with a lot of menu noise. The downside is also plain; if someone wants variety, mixes, or tracking, this is not the place. In practice it is the kind of thing that runs in the background while the phone is otherwise ignored. Rainy Mood sits with the simplest ambient-sound apps, and that is where it makes sense. It is for anyone who wants rain as a background texture and does not need much more than that.
