QuackNotes – Notes et Code is for people who want a notes app that can also handle code snippets without fuss. By our assessment, its strong point is the pairing of ordinary note-taking with a more technical space for code, which makes it feel useful for students, developers, and anyone mixing plain text with fragments of syntax. The downside is the usual one for hybrid tools: once an app tries to serve two jobs, it rarely becomes the best possible version of either. In practice, that means it should feel handy for quick capture and reference, not like a full editor or a heavy notebook system. The French wording in the title hints at a note-first tool, and the code part tells you it is trying to be a little more specific than that. QuackNotes – Notes et Code sits closer to a flexible workpad than to a formal document app.
