PureGym

PureGym is the app people use to deal with a gym membership: joining, booking classes or checking in, depending on how the club has set it up. By our assessment, that makes it useful in the plainest sense, because it takes some front-desk jobs out of the building and puts them in your pocket. Its strength is convenience around a single gym chain, not fitness guidance or training depth. The downside is just as clear: if you do not use PureGym, there is little here for you, and even for members it stays tied to one operator’s rules. In practice it is the sort of app that matters most when you are trying to get in, get a slot, or manage a visit quickly. It sits closer to membership admin than to a workout app, which keeps the rating middle-of-the-road.
