Punch Trainer: Boxtraining is for people who want a boxing workout without a coach in the room, so the app’s real job is drill structure rather than boxing theory. By our assessment, its strength is the training rhythm: rounds, cues, and repeated combinations are easy to follow when the point is to keep moving and stay sharp. The downside is that home boxing apps can only go so far, because they cannot watch form, correct footwork, or tell whether the punches are actually clean. In practice this kind of app feels brisk and somewhat demanding, with the phone acting more like a timer and drill card than a tutor. Compared with a generic fitness app, it is narrower and more focused on boxing movement. That makes it useful for solo conditioning, not for learning the sport properly from scratch.
