Puking Sounds

Puking Sounds is a sound-effects app built around one crude joke, so it is for novelty use rather than anything practical. By our assessment, its only real strength is the directness of the gag: there is no setup, no menu of moods, just the noise it promises. The downside is obvious as soon as the joke lands once, because there is not much else for it to become. In practice this kind of app lives or dies on whether someone finds that sound funny, useful for a prank, or instantly tiring. It sits in the same shallow corner as other one-joke joke apps, below any soundboard that at least offers variety. The name says the whole concept, and that is also the ceiling of Puking Sounds.
