Post Office EasyID

Post Office EasyID is a utility for identity checks in the Post Office flow, so its audience is anyone who needs a quick proof-of-identity step rather than a full office visit. By our assessment, its real value is in keeping that process in one place instead of making people juggle paper and repeated form-filling. The trade-off is simple: the app sounds narrow because it is narrow, and it only matters if you actually use Post Office services that accept it. In practice that means a fairly task-specific app, not something you keep open all day. Compared with general identity apps or broader government tools, it sits in a much smaller lane. The Astrina catalogue puts it under Productivity, which fits the way it is meant to save time on one admin job.
