PlantSnap Pro: Identify Plants tries to do one very specific job: take a plant photo and suggest what the plant might be. By our assessment, that image-first workflow is its main appeal, because it is built for quick field use rather than slow reading through guides. The weakness is the usual one for recognition apps: results can be uncertain, and a name on screen is not the same as a confirmed identification. In practice it feels like a shortcut into plant lookup, not a replacement for a proper flora book or an expert eye. That makes it useful for casual curiosity and rough sorting, but less reliable when accuracy really matters. The Astrina catalogue files it under Education, and that is a sensible fit for a plant ID tool. The limit is that it only helps as far as the photo and the underlying database can carry it.
