Pixelix - A Pixelfed Client is for people who want a cleaner way into Pixelfed, the photo-sharing network built around the fediverse. By our assessment, its best quality is that it gives a familiar client-style view onto a service that can otherwise feel a bit raw in the browser. The downside is the usual client-app one: it depends on Pixelfed itself, so the experience is only as complete as the service and the account setup behind it. In practice this sort of app lives on browsing feeds, opening posts, and keeping the interface out of the way. Compared with big proprietary photo apps, Pixelix - A Pixelfed Client is much more modest and more community-minded. It suits people who already live in Pixelfed and want a dedicated front end.
