Pipe saddle work calls for getting the shape of a branch opening right before cutting, and Pipe Saddle Layout Calculator is built around that specific geometry problem. It is a practical niche tool for pipe fitters or fabricators, not a general drafting app. By our assessment, its value is in turning a layout calculation into a usable guide for marking the pipe. The result still depends on entering the relevant dimensions accurately, so careful measurement remains part of the job.
