Piano

Piano is a very narrow music app, and that narrowness is both its point and its limit. By our assessment, it works best as a focused tool for people who want piano sounds or a simple way to practice notes without building a whole studio around them. The strength of that kind of app is immediacy: open it, touch keys, hear the result, and move on. The downside is just as concrete, because a piano app cannot replace a real instrument’s touch, pedal work, or range of expression. In practice these apps live on quick taps and short sessions, not deep musical work. Piano sits beside other instrument apps rather than alongside full music production tools, and the name itself makes the promise very small. It is fine when the goal is a pocket piano and nothing grander.
