O'Scan is the sort of productivity app people reach for when they want a scanning workflow, usually to capture documents or images and turn them into something easier to store or move along. By our assessment, its appeal is in reducing a paper task to a few taps, which is what scanner apps are supposed to do well. The honest limit is that the result still depends on the camera, lighting, and the user's patience in lining things up. In practice, that means a quick utility with a very ordinary ceiling: useful for grabbing a page or receipt, not for replacing a dedicated scanner on demanding jobs.
