A narrowly targeted blocker is the distinguishing idea behind No Shorts: Blocker for YouTube: it aims at YouTube Shorts rather than trying to manage every kind of screen time. By our assessment, that focus may help people who want regular YouTube viewing without the short-video feed, but it also leaves the rest of YouTube outside its stated purpose. A blocker depends on keeping pace with changes to the app it works alongside.
