NDI Capture: Screen Sharing is a niche capture app for sending a screen feed into the NDI video workflow, which makes sense for streamers, presenters, and production setups. By our assessment, its main value is clean screen capture for systems that already live in the NDI world. The downside is that it is not a general screen-sharing tool for everyone; it assumes you care about that production pipeline and already know why NDI matters. In practice that means setup and compatibility matter more than polish, and it sits closer to technical broadcast gear than to an everyday sharing app. For people outside live video and studio workflows, it is mostly irrelevant, while inside that space it fills a very specific slot. The name says the job plainly, and the app stays within that job.
