MiniMail for Yahoo Mail shrinks the Yahoo inbox into a smaller, simpler mail client for people who mainly want to read, sort, and send messages without a lot of extras. By our assessment, its good side is the narrow focus: email stays front and center, and that can make a busy account feel less crowded. The downside is the same thing in reverse, because a mini client usually means fewer comforts than the full webmail experience. In practice it sounds like the kind of app that gets out of the way quickly, which is useful if Yahoo Mail is just one inbox among many, but less appealing if you want every mailbox feature under one roof.
