Against built-in focus settings, a dedicated blocker such as MORA : Bloqueur d'apps makes app access itself the thing to manage. It sits in the health-and-fitness space and is meant to limit distractions by blocking apps, rather than organizing tasks or measuring productivity. By our assessment, that direct approach can help create a clear boundary, but it also means an app needed in the moment may be unavailable until the block is changed. The practical trade-off is felt most when a blocked app is needed for something time-sensitive.
