MLB Ballpark is the companion app baseball fans use to keep tickets, ballpark entry and game-day information in one place. By our assessment, its strongest point is the clean link between the phone and the stadium: digital tickets, parking, and venue maps are exactly the kind of friction it is meant to remove. The trade-off is that it is narrow by design and only really comes alive if you already follow MLB teams and attend games. In practice it feels practical rather than flashy, with a lot of taps serving routine errands before first pitch. Compared with a general sports app, it is more of a venue tool than a news feed, and that focus gives it clarity. The ceiling is obvious: outside baseball crowds it has little to offer.
