Lysoniq

Lysoniq is aimed at people who want a music app that stays close to the work of making and shaping sound rather than dressing itself up as a full studio. By our assessment, its strength is that it sits in the music category with a clear focus, so it reads as a tool rather than a toy. The trade-off is that this sort of app usually asks for patience and some familiarity with audio controls; it is not for casual tapping. In practice, that often means a smaller, more focused interface and less hand-holding. Compared with broad music suites, it should be judged by how directly it helps with the task at hand. Lysoniq feels more like something for people who already know what they want to make, and less like a place to start from zero.
