Locket Widget

Locket Widget is a small photo-sharing widget for the phone’s home screen, aimed mostly at close friends who want a very direct, low-friction way to send pictures to each other. By our assessment, its best trick is that images appear right on the widget instead of hiding inside a full social app, so the exchange feels immediate. The limit is just as clear: it is narrow, tied to a specific social circle, and not built for the richer posting, messaging or discovery you get in bigger networks. In practice it is more of a tiny routine than a full app, with the home screen becoming the place where new photos show up. Compared with Instagram or Snapchat, it gives up scale and features in exchange for a much simpler loop. Locket Widget suits people who want a private-feeling photo stream with a few close contacts, not anyone looking for a broad social feed.
