Lightbooth

Lightbooth sits in the social-networking corner, so it clearly aims at people who want to post, share, and be seen rather than manage a serious task. By our assessment, that makes its value depend on whether its features are pleasant enough to keep attention in a crowded field. The upside of this kind of app is quick social use; the downside is that it lives or dies on network effects, because a social app with no active circle can feel empty fast. In practice these apps are mostly about profile, feed, messaging, and small interactions rather than deep work. Lightbooth therefore looks more like a lightweight hangout tool than a platform with a sharp speciality, and it sits below the big social names that already own most of the habit.
