LA Fitness Mobile is the club app for members who want to check into the gym, manage their membership, and keep the fitness visit moving on a phone. By our assessment, its best feature is that it handles the boring but necessary parts of membership life in the same place as class and club information. The trade-off is that it is only as useful as the person’s relationship with LA Fitness itself, so it is not a general workout app with broad training depth. In practice it feels like a companion to an actual gym routine, not a place where the routine is invented from scratch. Compared with standalone training apps, it is more about access and administration than coaching. LA Fitness Mobile makes sense for current members who want one app for club business and visit basics, and it has little reason to matter to anyone outside that chain.
