KORG iELECTRIBE for iPhone

KORG iELECTRIBE for iPhone asks for timing and a bit of patience, and that is exactly why it feels like a real music tool rather than a toy. By our assessment, its best feature is the classic Electribe-style step sequencing, which makes drum patterns and synth lines fast to sketch and tweak on a phone. The trade-off is the usual one for groove tools on a small screen: fingers need room, and dense edits are less comfortable than on hardware. In practice it has the hands-on feel of tapping patterns in and muting parts, so the process is as much playing as programming. KORG iELECTRIBE for iPhone sits close to Korg’s hardware grooveboxes, but in a pocket format that gives up knobs and physical space. It suits people who like building loops and beats in short bursts, and it will feel narrow to anyone wanting a full DAW on a phone. The sequencer is the point, and the rest follows from that.
