Tunable just-intonation drones trade a fixed reference pitch for a sound that can be adjusted to explore pure intervals. JustDrones - Tunable Just Intonation Drones is built around that focused musical use, which can help singers and instrumentalists hear how notes relate instead of relying only on written theory. By our assessment, the idea is clear and practical, though its specialized tuning approach will matter less to musicians who simply need a standard pitch reference. The drone itself gives practice a steady sound to work against.
