Jetstar

Jetstar is the airline app for booking flights, checking in, and keeping a boarding pass in one place. By our assessment, it does that ordinary job without much fuss, which is exactly what most people want from a travel app. The trade-off is that it is still tied to airline travel: if the booking is changed, the fare rules and add-ons can make the app feel more like a handle on a system than a help in itself. In practice, that means a few useful screens, a booking list, and the usual check-in flow rather than anything clever. Compared with a full travel planner, Jetstar stays narrow and practical, and the narrowness is the point. It suits people who mainly want airline basics in a single app, and not a broader trip-management tool.
