Jahresblick

Jahresblick is a productivity app for getting a year-at-a-glance view of plans, dates, or recurring tasks. By our assessment, its appeal is the broad overview: one screen that helps reduce the feeling of dates scattering across calendars and notes. The limit is that this kind of app depends on good manual upkeep, because an overview is only useful if the entries stay current. In practice, it is the sort of tool people open when they want to see patterns instead of individual appointments. It sits closer to a planner than to a reminder app, and it is less about alerts than about orientation. Jahresblick makes sense for people who think in months and quarters, not for anyone who wants a noisy system of pop-up reminders.
