JSY2

JSY2 looks like a compact health-and-fitness utility whose main draw is being small and specific rather than broad. By our assessment, it reads as a tool for a narrow training or tracking task, and that can be a virtue when someone wants less clutter and fewer choices. The drawback is that such a thin-sounding app often asks the user to already know what they want, because it does not promise much guidance on its own. In practice, that usually means a fairly bare interface and a lot of self-directed use. JSY2 sits on the minimalist edge of the category, where the whole point is doing a little rather than pretending to do everything.
