JAL is the airline app people reach for when they want a flight search, booking, boarding pass, and day-of-travel information in one place. By our assessment, its real value is practical: it ties together planning and airport use instead of making you jump between a website, an email, and a paper pass. The downside is that airline apps are always bound to one carrier, so they are useful only if the route and fare logic fit that airline’s network. In practice that means trip details, reminders, and a screen you may keep open while moving through the airport. Against generic travel apps, it is narrower but more direct; against the airline website, it is usually the easier mobile companion. JAL is for people flying with JAL, and it stays mostly inside that job.
