Intune Company Portal is the work phone gatekeeper: employees use it to enroll a device, install company apps, and comply with an organization’s Microsoft Intune rules. By our assessment, it does that job cleanly, because it turns the awkward bits of mobile-device management into a guided portal instead of a pile of IT instructions. The downside is obvious to anyone who has handled managed devices: it exists for policy, not comfort, so the experience can feel bossy and narrow. In practice it is less about exploring features than about following prompts and confirming settings. Against general business apps it is much more specific, and against full IT admin tools it is the employee-side piece rather than the control room. People who need to get a corporate device working under Intune will find it familiar quickly; people outside that setup will only see a login wall with a checklist behind it.
