Hoplite Greek Keyboard

Hoplite Greek Keyboard serves a very specific need: typing Greek characters on a phone or tablet without fighting the default keyboard. By our assessment, that narrow focus is its main strength, because it gets the special letters out of the way and lets people write Greek more comfortably. The trade-off is that it is only useful if you actually need Greek input, and it will not replace a general keyboard for everyday typing. In practice, a keyboard app lives or dies by how quickly it switches and how little friction it adds, so this kind of tool has to stay light. Against broader multilingual keyboards, it is a specialist rather than a generalist. The education label makes sense, since it is clearly about language use rather than entertainment.
