Heatloss Calculator & Guide is the sort of app people open when they need a practical estimate rather than a general productivity tool. By our assessment, its value is in turning heat-loss questions into a guided calculation, which is much better than guessing from rough rules of thumb. The obvious limit is that a calculator is only as good as the inputs and assumptions behind it, so it will not do the judgement work for the user. In practice it is the kind of app that rewards a careful person who wants a quick answer and can follow the steps. Against broader building or energy tools, it stays narrow and task-specific, and that narrowness is both its point and its ceiling.
