By our assessment, it does the basic retail job well enough: the range is familiar, the app keeps the brand’s own stock and promotions close, and buying from a known label is simple. The obvious limit is the one built into the brand itself — fashion here moves quickly, and the catalogue is tied to H&M’s mass-market style rather than broad taste or deep durability. In practice it is a lot of scrolling through familiar basics, trend-led pieces, and sale rails. Against Zara, Uniqlo, or department-store apps, it sits firmly in the middle of the fast-fashion pack. It suits people who already shop H&M for everyday clothes, but it is not the place for a carefully edited wardrobe.
