Goguma IRC

Goguma IRC keeps the old IRC idea alive for people who still want a plain, text-first chat client instead of a modern social feed. By our assessment, its real strength is the bare IRC shape itself: channels, nicknames, lightweight conversation, and the lack of extra clutter. That same spartan style is also the limit, because IRC expects setup, server choice, and a bit of patience with a format that feels dated to many users. In practice this kind of app is all about reading logs, jumping into rooms, and managing a channel with keyboard-like speed rather than polished gestures. It sits closer to a serious client than to a casual messenger, and that narrow focus is exactly why some people still want it. By our assessment, Goguma IRC makes sense for IRC regulars, not for anyone looking for a glossy all-in-one social app.
