GifJif - Custom Gif Creator is for making short animated loops, the sort of thing people use when plain text feels too flat. By our assessment, its real appeal is the custom part: a creator like this is useful when the point is to shape a GIF to a joke, reaction, or quick post instead of hunting for something already made. The downside is the usual one for editing tools of this kind: you only get value if you are willing to spend time arranging and exporting the result. In practice it tends to be more fiddly than a viewer or a messaging app, because creation tools ask for patience. Astrina lists it under Entertainment, which matches the casual use case more than any serious media workflow.
