FlashGreek: Mounce edition is a drill app for learners working through New Testament Greek vocabulary, especially people using Mounce’s course or a similar textbook path. Its real strength is repetition: it turns word lists into something you can review in short bursts instead of hauling a full study system around. The downside is plain too, because it is narrow and textbook-shaped; if you want grammar explanation, reading practice, or a broader Greek study tool, it will not do that work. In practice it feels like a focused study aid rather than a general language app, which is exactly why some students like it and others will find it too specialized. By our assessment, it sits above generic flashcard clutter because it knows its lane and stays in it. The grade is helped by that clear fit, but the ceiling is set by how much it depends on one method: memorising lists.
