Finder for Fitbit

Finder for Fitbit is the kind of utility people open when a Fitbit has gone missing and the only goal is to narrow down where it might be. By our assessment, that is a useful but limited job: the app is about locating a device, not about fitness tracking itself. The good part is the obvious one, because a focused finder tool can save time and reduce the little panic of not knowing where the tracker is. The downside is that it has no broader appeal once the device is already on your wrist. In practice, it is the sort of app that matters in short bursts and then disappears again. Compared with general Fitbit apps, Finder for Fitbit is a side tool, not the main event.
