FGTS is a Brazilian finance app tied to the worker fund of the same name, so it mainly matters to people who need to check balances, withdrawals, or rules around that money. By our assessment, its real value is in putting a very specific public-service account in one place instead of making users chase paper or scattered information. The downside is that it is narrow by design and only makes sense inside that system, which limits it for anyone outside it.
