Expedia: Hotels, Flights, Cars

Expedia: Hotels, Flights, Cars is the kind of travel app people open when the trip is still a set of tabs: one place to search flights, book hotels, and line up a rental car. By our assessment, it does a solid job of putting those pieces together instead of making you jump between separate sites. The upside is the obvious one: fewer moving parts when a trip needs more than one booking. The downside is that this kind of bundle can feel crowded, and the best deal often still depends on comparing with airline, hotel, or rental-company sites. In practice it is a search-and-book tool with a lot of filters and a fair amount of screen-scrubbing. Expedia sits near the centre of the online travel packager crowd, not as the most specialised option but as a broad one. It suits people who want flight, hotel, and car choices in one app, and it is less appealing if they prefer to book each leg separately.
