Esup Auth is a workplace login app for people who need a second step before getting into a company system, so its value is in reducing password drift and centralising access. By our assessment, it does that plain job without much drama, and that is the point. The downside is simple: an authentication app is only as useful as the account setup behind it, and it adds one more tap to every sign-in. In practice it lives in the background, waiting for a code, a push, or an approval request rather than trying to be interesting. Compared with general password managers it is narrower and less helpful on its own, but also less cluttered. Esup Auth suits organisations that already use it, and it does not have much meaning as a standalone app.
