Drumstik

Drumstik is a metronome-style music app for keeping tempo, practising rhythm, and making a band or solo session less guessy about the beat. By our assessment, the best thing about this kind of app is its directness: set the pace, hear the click, stay in time. Its limit is also clear, because it does one narrow job and does not pretend to be a full practice studio or recording tool. In use, that usually means a simple screen, a steady pulse, and a very low tolerance for distraction. Compared with larger music tools, it is small on purpose. The catalogue puts Drumstik in Music, and that is exactly the sort of use it belongs to.
