Deshake – Videostabilisierung tackles the annoying kind of footage that jitters after the fact, and that makes it a practical rescue tool for shaky clips. By our assessment, its real strength is obvious: software stabilization can turn an unsteady recording into something much easier to watch. The trade-off is also familiar, because stabilizing video often means cropping the frame or softening detail a little, and extreme shake can still defeat the result. In use, these apps feel like a correction pass rather than creative editing, with one obvious job and little distraction. It belongs alongside other post-processing tools, not with camera apps that prevent shake in the first place.
