Daily Animal

Daily Animal is a book app in the simplest sense: a daily bite-sized animal title for readers who like a small fact or vignette each day rather than a long textbook on wildlife. By our assessment, its appeal comes from that format, which is easy to dip into and easy to remember. The limit is also built into the idea, because a daily animal book cannot go very far in depth and will feel slight if someone wants broad coverage. In practice it is closer to a gentle reading habit than to a reference work, and the name says most of what there is to say. Daily Animal fits people who want a light animal-themed book and do not need a heavy natural-history volume.
