DGV-Platzreife

DGV-Platzreife is a golf-learning app for the German club-and-course world, and the name points straight at the handicap of getting through golf etiquette, rules, and basic certification-style knowledge. By our assessment, its value lies in a very specific preparation job: helping newer golfers study what they need before stepping onto the course more confidently. That kind of focus is useful, because golf has plenty of rule detail that is easier to review in an app than in a scattered booklet. The downside is just as specific: if someone wants live coaching, swing correction, or general sports training, this is not that. In practice it is likely to feel like repeated rule review and small quiz-style steps rather than action-heavy use. DGV-Platzreife sits much closer to exam prep and club formalities than to athletic tracking apps, and that is exactly why it exists. It is for golfers who need the written and social side of the game more than a training session.
