DB48X asks for more familiarity than an ordinary pocket calculator: it follows the HP-48 style of scientific calculation, including stack-based input and reverse Polish notation. That approach can serve technical calculations well, but it is a real learning curve for anyone expecting standard keypad arithmetic. By our assessment, the app’s strength is its specialized calculator workflow, while its menus and input conventions take time to learn.
