Custom Chime

Custom Chime is a tiny utility for making a device or app alert sound less generic and a bit more personal. By our assessment, it is good at one small job: swapping the default chime for something chosen by the user. The downside is that the idea is narrow, so the whole experience lives or dies on whether a custom sound matters in the first place. In practice this sort of app is more about setup than about daily drama; once the sound is set, it mostly disappears into the background. It sits well below full notification managers and above leaving every alert untouched. Custom Chime is a niche choice, useful when a plain system tone feels too bland and nothing more complicated is needed.
